Workshops and Events

The Graduate School offers workshops and events to support graduate students’ academic and professional development and enhance the graduate student experience.

Workshops and events focus on five key areas for graduate student success:

• Academic success presentations for graduate programs, classes and orientations are available upon request and can be customized to address graduate student needs related to writing, research, productivity, academic milestones, responsible AI use and other areas of graduate student academic success. • Professional development opportunities enhance skills and knowledge through Responsible Conduct of Research training and more.
• Career preparation events support graduate students in exploring career paths, networking, and navigating job searches.
• Engagement events offer opportunities for community building, involvement in student organizations, and networking. Join us for Graduate Student Appreciation Week activities during the first week of April each year.
• In recognition of graduate students’ achievements, celebrate at our awards and graduate commencement ceremonies.
