The Doctor of Physical Therapy program enhances your problem-solving skills while developing an evidence-based practice. You will gain experience through a broad range of clinical experiences in the PT laboratory and in health care facilities as you develop professional skills.

The program admits students once a year. NIU's D.P.T. program starts in the summer semester. Students are admitted upon successful completion of the undergraduate requirements.
All applicants must complete the NIU Graduate School application and the PTCAS application by September 15.
